About this event
"Making Right After Everything Goes Wrong: Principles and Practice of Restorative Justice"
A brief introduction to restorative justice. Communities For Restorative Justice (C4RJ) is an independent non-profit that provides a process for criminal cases diverted out of the legal system, working to repair harm while balancing support and accountability in the wake of a criminal incident. Reparative justice provides an opportunity for victims, responsible parties, and others impacted to sit down together and work toward repair.
Yael Yaaloz is the Director of Programs at Communities for Restorative Justice, the leading court alternative Restorative Justice organization in Massachusetts, working with responsible parties and impacted parties from across the state. Yael brings a background in conflict resolution and nonprofit administration to her work in restorative justice.
