Call for Member Photos!
Northampton Neighbors invites you to contribute to a community photo album of neighbors “engaging in place!” We welcome candids and posed pictures alike. Snap a photo while gathering with an interest group, neighborhood circle, at a NN mix 'n mingle or some other NN event. Please email photos to
info@northamptonneighbors.org. Include the photographer's name with each photo submitted.
Photo Tips!
We've included a few tips for web-friendly photos:
- Make sure there’s plenty of light distributed evenly and that people are not in front of windows or otherwise lit from behind (which tends to create a silhouette effect).
- Please include plenty of room around the people in the images to allow for cropping to fit the online gallery.
- Candids are best when people are generally facing the camera even when not looking directly into it.
- The simpler the background, the better.
