Marilyn has lived in Northampton for 35 years, where she and her husband raised two daughters. She earned her Masters in Social Work from Boston College in 1978. Following her career as a clinical social worker, she began volunteering for Northampton Neighbors in 2018 as a Welcome Visitor, member of the Support Committee, and provider of services. She has found being involved in Northampton Neighbors rewarding in so many ways: feeling useful, making friends, and working with a committed group of people making a difference in the lives of older adults. She is looking forward to her new leadership role as a board member.
