HomeNN Singalongs

The Singalongs offer members the opportunity to connect with each other and find joy in singing favorite songs. There will be no vocal “parts,” or practice sessions, though informal harmonies will be welcome—we’ll just be singing for fun.

MUSIC: We will provide three-ring binders of song lyrics.

LOCATION: Our monthly one-hour Singalongs are at the Tabernacle (covered open pavilion) in Laurel Park, Northampton. There are wooden benches as well as folding chairs, along with ample space for wheelchairs and walkers.

DIRECTIONS: Laurel Park is on North King St. (Route 5&10), about 3 miles north of downtown Northampton, MA. The entrance is about a mile north of Big Y and River Valley Market, across from the State Police Barracks. It’s just south of exit 21 off Interstate 91. Look for the stone gates with a Laurel Park sign above them. We recommend carpooling.

PARKING LOTS: Parking nearest the Tabernacle is reserved for people with limited mobility. Everyone else must park in one of the two larger parking lots on the right as you continue past the Tabernacle on the circular drive.

WEATHER CONCERNS/CANCELLATION: In the event of heavy wind or rain, lightning, or extreme heat, we will cancel it on the NN Calendar by 9 am that day.

BUGS: The bugs can be bad: You may wish to bring insect repellent.

WATER: Please bring your own water.

RESTROOMS: There are no accessible restrooms on site.

LAUREL PARK GROUND RULES:
10 MPH speed limit in Laurel Park;
No on-street parking;
Take all trash with you.
