NN101: WHERE DO I FIT IN?
Northampton Neighbors has a lot to offer its nearly 1,700 members—and all of it is free! We are so much more than a ride to the dentist.
- Want to get together with others who share your interests? We’ve got that.
- Interested in going to a relaxed and friendly social meet-up? Yup, got that too.
- Do you need help of some kind—like rides to and from medical appointments? Small fixes around the house? We’ve got you covered.
- Want some tech assistance? We can connect your cable and help you with smartphones, computers, tablets, and printers.
- Want to get to know some of your neighbors? We have Neighborhood Circles across Northampton and Florence. All you have to do is show up.
- How about a phone call or visit every week—or just once in a while? Our volunteers have time for you.
There’s lots to do and for you at Northampton Neighbors. But sometimes it’s hard to know how to find what you’re looking for or get the help you need. That’s where “NN 101” comes in.
Every month, we’ll gather for about 40 minutes on Zoom to offer a short presentation on our multifaceted organization—check the NN Calendar for NN101. The focus is on where YOU fit in! That’s how we build community, and you can help us do that.
You’ll have a chance to chat with others, or just listen. Questions are welcome on the topic presented—or on any other aspect of NN. Everyone is invited. We look forward to seeing you.
Topics include:
- Social events like Mix ‘n’ Mingles and Sunset Socials
- Committees that do the nuts-and-bolts work of Northampton Neighbors
- Services we provide for our members and how to access them
