Sue Hawes, Administrator

Sue Hawes comes to the Northampton Neighbors office as a member and volunteer (DoozyDo Parade 2022). She has experience using database, spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software that she learned in her thirty years as Professor of Clinical Psychology at Antioch University New England in Keene, NH. She has two jobs she performs for NN: (a) administrative support in everything pertaining to our membership and (b) administrative support to the Communications Committee. She manages the NN calendar of events, the Newsletter, and all that is on our NN website. She describes herself as the one-time geek among her academic department faculty.

Sue moved to Northampton in 2019, after living 35 years on 28 acres in Conway, MA.  Retirement brought her to the city, where she almost immediately began volunteering at the Survival Center and joined Northampton Neighbors.  Her two adult children have families of their own, a daughter in Leverett, MA and a son in San Francisco, CA.  Four grand kids, two on each coast, make her life ring with joy!
