Naomi Yanis
Naomi moved to the valley in 1996 as an early retiree, and immediately joined Learning In Retirement, in which she continues to actively participate, both taking and moderating seminars, and in its governance, including having served as President. Her work experience was varied; teaching, owning a business, programming, and retiring as a computer systems analyst. She has served in the governance, often as Chair or President, of most of the organizations she has been a member of. Naomi joined Northampton Neighbors as soon as she became aware of the organization, and soon became a Call Manager, which made her aware of the many ways NN has served the population for which it was designed, as well as helping to weave the fabric of our vibrant city.
