NN Laptop Exchange Program

We believe strongly in the importance of connection. That’s why we’re delighted to work with dedicated volunteers on a program to strengthen how we all stay connected in this increasingly digital world.
And, as a secondary benefit, keep donated laptops out of our growing landfill.

Do you have a laptop you no longer need?
We welcome laptops up to 12 years old that are equipped with a camera and a microphone. The Laptop Exchange Team wipes your hard drive to leave no trace of your files or other personal information and reinstalls the operating system. Once completed, your laptop will be ready to give to someone who needs it.
The Team will provide a document indicating the laptop donation for your records.

Do you need a laptop?

Please email us at connect@northamptonneighbors.org or call us at 413-341-0160 if you encounter problems completing the form. Once we receive your request, we will deliver it and provide some basic instructions when we have found the right laptop for you.

Who can request a laptop?
Laptop requests are accepted from our Northampton Neighbor members and all our neighbors. The Laptop Exchange Team reviews applications, interviews applicants, and offers progress updates.

Once the Laptop Exchange Team has a laptop ready for you, a Team member will arrange to meet for delivery. They will provide basic instructions and a receipt with the laptop’s details. NN members can request additional Tech Support as needed.
