Northampton Neighbors (NN) Health Check for In-person Services
Updated May 2025

For the health and safety of our neighbors and to limit the risks associated with respiratory infections and other viruses, we ask that all volunteers providing in-person services, and members receiving them, observe the following policy.

Before the appointment:
    ● Answer the NN health screening questions below.
    ● The member and volunteer should discuss safety precautions before meeting for a service.
    ● If either person requests masking, both should mask. Either person may prefer that the passenger sit in the back seat with a window open.
    ● During the in-person service, maintain social distance, wash hands, and bring fresh air into the environment.

Health Screening Questions for In-Person Services
On the day of (and/or days leading to) the scheduled service, ask these questions:

    ❏  Do I have a fever/chills, or do I feel feverish?
    ❏  Do I have a new cough?
❏  Do I have shortness of breath or difficulty breathing?
    ❏  Do I have a sore throat?
❏  Do I have body aches?
❏  Do I have an unusual headache?
    ❏  Do I feel excessively tired/fatigued?
❏  Have I noticed a new loss of taste or smell?
❏  Do I have congestion or a runny nose?
❏  Am I nauseated or vomiting?
    ❏  Do I have diarrhea?

Consider whether or not you have been in close, personal contact with someone who has the symptoms listed above.

Please cancel your in-person service when you do not feel well.
