UMass Storytelling Project Info Session
About this event
Northampton Neighbors is once again partnering with public health students at UMass on a storytelling project. Hear StoryShares
here.
Throughout the course, students will learn about different ways to build connections, including through storytelling. Volunteers are matched one-on-one with a student in the class. Pairs meet about weekly for about 8-10 weeks between February and May. Volunteers can expect to spend a minimum of 10 hours over the course of the semester.
The Epidemic of Loneliness: On Connection, Belonging, and Public Health is taught by Professor Gloria DiFulvio PhD, MPH.
Join Professor DiFluvio's virtual information session on February 2, 2026 at 4:30 pm to learn more about the project.
