The Division of Community Care (the DCC)
Nataya Burch (DCC Coordinator) will tell us how to access the emotional support, advocacy, and resource connections for people seeking the services of the Division of Community Care--and offer a brief Q&A, too.
The Division of Community Care otherwise known as the DCC, is established under the Department of Health and Human Services with the city of Northampton.The DCC was developed to provide services to individuals within the city of Northampton.
We aim to offer trauma informed and person-centered support to assist people with meeting basic needs, resource connections and navigation, and those in need of emotional support, and public health nursing services.
We make efforts to maintain ongoing relationships to build trust, help identify needs, and offer warm handoffs to community partners and necessary resources accordingly.
We like to meet folks where they are at without judgement and expectations and help support them through their journey if that is something they are interested in.
