Calendar - Event View

MEETING TIME AND PLACE: 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2024 at Veterans Field, 88 West Street, Northampton. (This can be used as a GPS address.) We will meet in the Veteran’s Field parking lot. From there, we will walk on the bike path towards Easthampton.

DIRECTIONS: Veterans Field, 88 West Street, is about 1/4 of a mile past the Forbes Library going westbound on West Street. A good landmark is the Felt Building which is on the left hand side of West Street as you drive down the street after passing the Forbes Library. The entrance to Veterans Field (there is a sign identifying it as such) is on the left immediately before the Felt Building parking lot. After making a left hand turn, cross the bike path and proceed down a short hill to the parking lot for Veterans Field where we will meet. If you pass the Felt Building (126 West Street) you have gone too far. For those driving east, make a right hand turn into Veteran’s Field after passing the Felt Building. 

DESCRIPTION OF WALK: Once on the bike path, we will walk towards Easthampton. From Veterans Field, it is approximately 1.4 miles to the far side of the pedestrian bridge over Route 10.

RESTROOMS: There are no restrooms available at Veterans Field. The closest restrooms are at the Forbes Library which is open during the walk.
