Calendar - Event View

MEETING TIME AND PLACE: 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 1, 2024. We will meet at the parking lot adjacent to Nonotuck Park located across the street from 57 Taft Avenue, Easthampton, MA, which can be used as a GPS address.

DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS: From Northampton, take Route 10 (South Street) to Easthampton. After turning on to Main Street from the traffic circle, continue through the traffic light and immediately take the slight left onto Park Street. (A landmark is the Emily Williston Library between Route 10 and Park Street.) Continue on Park Street for approximately 0.8 miles, passing the Williston Northampton School campus and turning left onto Taft Avenue (the street before Taft is Bryan Avenue). Continue on Taft for about 0.3 tenths of a mile and look for our group in the parking lot across from 57 Taft Street that is adjacent to Nonotuck Park.

DESCRIPTION OF WALK: From the parking lot on Taft Avenue, we will head out on this approximately 1.5-mile paved, loop trail through the park. Generally considered an easy walk, this is also a popular trail for birding with views of Nashawannuck Pond.  For more information and a map of the park, visit:
