Hi all,

Next Monday, November 27, we will meet at 1 p.m. at Mass Audubon Arcadia and walk in the Northampton Meadows (details below). A few reminders.

--The photograph below of the Monday Walking Group at the Fort River Refuge in Hadley on November 20, is by Judith B. Cameron.

--The Mass Audubon office has restrooms that are open to the public.

--All are welcome on Monday Walking Group outings no matter where you live! You do not have to be a resident of Northampton to walk with our group.

--Each person walks at her/his own pace and walks only as far as they wish. There is no obligation to complete the walk or walk a certain distance.

--If you no longer want to receive these emails, please email me and I will remove your name from the listserv.

Mass Audubon Arcadia/Northampton Meadows


MEETING TIME AND PLACE: 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2023. Mass Audubon Arcadia, 127 Combs Road, Easthampton, MA 01027 (can be used as a GPS address). We will meet in the Mass Audubon parking lot and then walk from there to the Northampton Meadows. The Mass Audubon office has restrooms that are open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS: For those using a GPS, the Mass Audubon Arcadia address is: 127 Combs Avenue, Easthampton, MA 01027

For those driving from Northampton, from the I-91 interchange with Route 5 (this is the new Exit 23 and the old Exit 18) take Route 5 south 1.4 miles and take a right onto East St at the sign for Easthampton Center. Follow East St for 1.2 miles and turn right onto Fort Hill Road at the Mass Audubon sign. Go 0.9 miles and after the stop sign, bear right at the Mass Audubon sign and then turn left into the sanctuary’s entrance road. This leads to the parking lot where we will
