Life has changed since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. NN knows how important health and wellbeing is to our members and our community. On the basis of age alone, most NN members remain in what is considered a high-risk group for respiratory infections. We still encourage avoiding exposure to respiratory viruses—such as COVID, influenza, RSV—and helping others to do the same.
To help protect the NN community, we encourage all our members, volunteers, and community partners to adopt best practices for minimizing the spread of communicable viruses. These best practices include:
● Being up to date with vaccines
● Wearing masks, especially in crowded indoor settings
● Maximizing ventilation
● Using antigen tests if you think you’ve been exposed to a respiratory
virus or if you develop symptoms.
